China seems to be snubbing India too much in recent months, With her best friend, Pakistan being under distress with flooding there is no body to stop India and its progress, so China seems to takes things on her own hand, to keep it costly for India to grow. But at this moment, this strategy is backfiring, with India responding with mountain divisions , rapid reaction forces , air bases , missile squadrons and what not. Although Indian Political leaders are corrupt, its military is not so powerless to let China snub India as it wishes. I wish India raise its defense budget to at least $ 80 billions from its $30 billions (official figure) with this China threat becoming imminent. Although China spends $150 billions a year on its military, the quality of weaponry is not always at par with India.
Only under National Security and Political Stability, Economic Prosperity is achievable, India needs an Economic revolution to out pass china economically, with young population at hand, no doubt India could achieve $5-6 trillion economy in the next 10 years. But India should prioritize National Security first to guarantee it and for that India should counter the geopolitics game Chinese are trying to play.
So what could India do in the next 5 years, to counter this China threat militarily:
