History always fascinates me and one of my favorite channel in US is the History International - which truly helps you Globalize yourself(as their motto says), in one of the weekdays night, happen to watch History International - they carried a good documentary on Nikolas Tesla - Inventor of Alternating current (AC).
He holds more than 100 patents till to-day and which are all so navel, that no one would dare to challenge them in courts. We shamefully believe till now the Marconi is the Inventor of Radio, but do you know that Marconi copied the idea from Tesla and US Patent court in 1943 overruled Marconi's patent in favor of Tesla.
So what are the Inventions Tesla was into -Alternating-current power transmission, The Death Ray Machine,Fluorescent lights,Induction motor,Polyphase,alternating-current system,Radio,Rotating magnetic field principle,Telephone repeater,Tesla coil transformer,Wireless communication.
We can't imagine a World without AC today.Yet he was forgotten as he
coiled his later life towards death ray experiments - as it constituted a
part of some conspiracy theories as a means of destruction, which
labeled him as dangerous. So all his papers were declared to be top secret and taken into possession by FBI.
If he had achieved his Wireless communication theory which he posed in 1905 as the transmission of Electrical Energy without wires as a means of furthering world peace, in short providing wireless current throughout world would have made much of a difference in this world and would have helped the humanity to great extent. As they always says, Geniuses always comes with a price.
